Calorimeter IC 210:
The sample to be analyzed is placed in a high-pressure resistant decomposition vessel. The vessel is immersed in a water-filled analysis chamber, which is maintained at a constant temperature and is unaffected by external temperature variations. The sample inside the vessel is combusted using high-pressure oxygen (30 bar) and electrodes. When the combustible sample ignites, the vessel temperature increases and begins to heat the surrounding water, whose temperature is then measured.
